  • End stage renal disease in 50%
  • Usually presents in 4th to 5th decades of life
  • Risk of cancer is not increased
  • Liver involved in 50%
  • Pancreas involved in 5%
  • Intracranial aneurysm in approximately 20%
  • Classic signs and symptoms
    • Hypertension
    • Renal failure

  • Multiple, variably sized cortical and medullary based cysts
  • Renomegaly
  • Hemorrhagic cysts are often present
